My wife Elizabeth and I live in Bloomington with our two boys, Harvey and Tommy. In the moments when we’re not changing diapers, pretending to be dinosaurs, or volunteering, we love to travel, try new restaurants or otherwise bask in moments of silence!

I’m originally from Wisconsin, but attended the University of Northwestern – St. Paul in 2009. Minnesota is home for us and we want to see it flourish. We attend River Valley Church in Eden Prairie. I co-founded Nativ3, a digital marketing agency, in 2016. We’ve grown to a team of 11, working with candidates, causes and companies.

I co-founded Nativ3 in 2016, while running for State House in Minnesota. My business partner Jon and I built it from scratch. We’re now a near-million dollar agency, working with over 50 active clients across the country. I know what it means to meet payroll, struggle with burdensome regulation, and grow a business. These are all big reasons I’m a Republican.

Running a business gives me an advantage as Committeeman, as I’ve built independent relationships in DC and I’ve made the “big ask” to get/grow clients. I am a tenacious closer and will help the Chair fundraise.

In 2018, I helped run the digital marketing efforts of Jeff Johnson’s gubernatorial run. Jeff overcame a dramatic fundraising gap in both the primary and general election – turning out the most votes for a Republican governor in Minnesota’s history. We continue to work with candidates and causes.

Door knocking, phone banking, letter stuffing, and digital media; if it could be done for a campaign in a volunteer capacity, I’ve done it. Starting with an internship in the Minnesota legislature (2010), I’ve been involved with politics at every level.

Nothing matters more to me than helping our candidates WIN in this state. It’s what I hunger for; it’s what I desire. After the 2018 election, I began digging into data and developing solutions which would drive the Republican Party forward. This included a unified fundraising platform and getting all activists on the same data tool for door knocking. I’m encouraged by the strides that have been made and will be part of the strategic solutions going forward for the MNGOP.

I am currently on the board of CD3 Republicans (co-chair), the Republican Liberty Caucus (secretary), and SD50 Republicans. I am also a member of Minnesota Young Republicans.

Since running for office in 2016, I’ve provided Republican candidates and activists new platforms to deliver their message: starting the Kip & Max Save the World Podcast, Hosting the most popular Republican cable access news program in the Twin Cities, the Republican Roundtable, filling in as a host of Closing Argument with Walter Hudson, and being a regular contributor on Justice & Drew on Twin Cities News Talk.
